Annette O'Toole grew up in the Houston dance studio that was run by the mother of her. When she was just two, she was the first to appear on television, as a child as a child on The Don Mahoney Show for Kids. After ten years of dancing and singing classes Her mother and her headed on a journey to L.A. to try and test whether a showbiz career was feasible. In just two months, she got her first professional job: dancing with Danny Kaye on The Danny Kaye Show. She has utilized her dancing and singing talents in numerous ways. The discipline that you gain through this training is beneficial to actors." The first time she acted was in My Three Sons, followed with appearances on Gunsmoke, The Partridge Family, The Mod Squad, and Hawaii Five-O. O'Toole has been a part of more than 40 TV shows. In spite of her success for her work in TV and films the theater is her main interest. Following her time on Smallville O'Toole made the decision to concentrate on theatre as she was performing for the last ten years. First auditions on stage in New York led her to being cast in The Sea Gull. She has performed in many off Broadway productions like Adam Rapp's "Kindness", Tracy Letts Man from Nebraska and Tennessee Williams A Lovely Sunday for Creve Couer.
